This is Base Camp 126. Located at 16751 S Bryn Mawr Rd in Pine, CO. Cabin includes access to a 22' Tee Pee to relax or sleep in.

Great location for hunters, anglers, bikers, hikers, off roaders or those who just want a peaceful getaway. Access all the wonders along Highway 126 and stay here in Pine with privacy, open space, wildlife and security. The famous Zoka's Restaurant is only 200 yards down the road. Plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers.

Cabin in Pine

The place was great, a nice cabin with plenty of space. Nice and quiet. Jim was great and a wonderful host. Would recommend.

Loved my 3 night stay. The manager Jim was so helpful on places to see and also restaurant ideas. I'm a huge dog lover and Bluebear the resident pooch stole my heart.

Classic Cabin

Base Camp was awesome. Very comfortable and had everything I needed. It’s far from a lot of things but that’s part of the appeal. Would stay again for sure!

The best stay in Colorado

Awesome stay! The place was filled with things to do and they thought of every little thing you may need! It was so much fun! The owners are amazing! We left an article there and they were very quick to mail it back to us and we are SO grateful ❤️

Exceeded Expectations

Comfy place!

We enjoyed our stay in this very clean cabin. The owner is super friendly and helpful. There's a great restaurant within walking distance of the cabin. We had breakfast there. We hiked in the general area and had easy access to other restaurants along 285. Super quiet at the cabin. Comfortable beds and soft sheets.

Great Basecamp

Jim and Cindys place is exactly what we were looking for this past weekend when visiting our son who lives nearby. Great property that is right up behind Zokas, which is a restaurant open on the weekends. (Get the Zoka burger) The place had everything we needed and was super quiet. The property is very eclectic with things to check out around every corner, especially the Teepee which is a cool place to hang out. Plenty of room inside with everything we needed to cook breakfast and spread out. Highly recommended, and we will definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect little getaway

We stayed in a few places during our trip to Colorado and Jim and Cindy's place was our favorite. We felt at home right away and Jim is very thoughtful and goes above and beyond. Sweet Blue Bear showed us around and kept a watch over us. The cabin is very clean, well equipped and had everything we could need. We can't wait to visit again.

We only spend one night, but the way everything is set up, the area, the teepee... we should have stayed longer. It is a cosy, peaceful and wonderful place to stay!

Great spot to land

A friend and I stayed after a Red Rocks show - the drive was not far from Morrison and easy to get back to 285 towards home the next morning. Thanks for the coffee station and a place to enjoy a warm cup outside along with the quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay the night!

Cozy Mountain Relaxation

Jim was a wonderful host! Everything was clean and as pictured. The outdoor space was great to relax in and my kids LOVED the tee-pee! Very comfortable and relaxing. An extra bonus was having Bluebear the friendly dog there, great biking and hiking nearby, and Zoka's restaurant for dinner.

If Only There Were More Hours In A Day

The Base Camp 126 was superb all around! Jim & Cindy have outdone themselves creating a comfortable, clean, relaxing, and enjoyable place as your home away from home. They were totally accepting and accomodating of all the little challenges and unexpected issues that always arise while you are traveling. We fully hope that we can stay again and are able to spend more time enjoying Base Camp 126. Thank you!

Everything you need

Host was fantastic, engaging, and respectful of space. Went out of their way to add some special requests!! (Thank you!) Photographs are perfectly describing: a simple and cozy cabin. Close enough to the South Platte River you can hear it. Great and reliable Internet.

Such a lovely experience

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the sweetest choc lab, Blue Bear. Shortly thereafter, Jim, the owner. He was so friendly, so helpful, it set the trajectory for our stay. We had the best time. The cabin is friendly and comfortable...like you'd want w a mountain cabin! 10/10

Amazing

Everything about this place was awesome. Highlights: the tiny details of the cabin, two fire pits, awesome teepee, location, starry nights, wildlife, quiet, and Jim. Jim is so kind, one of those people that just make you hoot to talk to and be around. Only complaint was that we weren’t there long enough. But that’s our mistake, be back again for longer. Thanks Jim!

Fabulous hosts and place to stay, even a tipi!

Our hosts we marvelously helpful with quick and friendly communication about the property, directions (especially since we were arriving late at night), all the way to helping us find an additional accommodation for the rest of our family. Both the cabin and tipi we welcoming and spotless. My husband was so excited about sleeping in the tipi that he didn’t even want to check out the cabin. . . The location was perfect to get us close to an event early the next morning so we didn’t have to drive all the way from Denver. We will be back sometime so we can have a chance for a leisurely morning to enjoy the property and area. I recommend the hosts and property to everyone looking to stay in the area.

Fantastic getaway in the Colorado Mountains

Fantastic stay in the Colorado mountains! Jim and Cindy were wonderful hosts and the property listing is as described. We were in searching for a place within reasonable distance from Red Rocks, had easy access to hiking, and that would allow us to “escape”. This place delivered. We spent our days hiking (Jim offered wonderful suggestions) and nights reading in the on-site teepee and sitting by a fire. Sweet Bluebear (Jim and Cindy’s dog) greeted us every morning and provided us with a much needed “dog fix”. It was a wonderful visit and if we venture back to Colorado for another concert at Red Rocks, we would welcome the opportunity to stay here again.

Great spot near trail race

Stayed here the night before and after running the North Fork 50M, excellent location for the race with friendly hosts and a clean, cozy cabin. Would return again!
