"These apartments were definitely an excellent choice. The apartments are beautifully kept and well cleaned. The area provided access to all types of food and groceries. However, the Tesco Extra is a personal favorite and its close walking distance was the best. These apartment were also very close to the city’s main shopping areas. We loved the safety and security provided on and in the properties. We have already decided that we would definitely choose this property or one of their (Kennet) other properties when we visit Reading again and I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone considering a place to stay when in the city."
"Superb hospitality here and the staff were extremely helpful. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. For those travelling by train, it takes about 25-30mins to walk into the centre of Reading, but is only 10 mins by bus and these are frequent. I stayed here on a work trip. I would have liked a bath to relax into at the end of a long day, but I guess you can't have everything!"
"Good quick check in .. very polite staff and helpful .. room was fine but does need some tlc .. bed was comfy .. quiet nights sleep .. very dog friendly .. "
"Unfortunately the house has seen better times, the flooring is in a bad state of of repair, sockets hanging of the walls and what looks like telephone cables loose and not connected, luckily we did not have young children with us otherwise I would have said unsafe.
There was no heating or hot water in the property and whilst the host offered to get someone in on the 2nd night there was still no hot water which meant the family had to find alternatives.
It’s also worth noting that whilst we booked the whole house we were left just 3 small towels, in hindsight it was a good job there was no hot water.
After paying what felt like quite a bit, we were expecting a little more from what was a tired and somewhat grubby property, leaving us very disappointed and we certainly won’t be returning."
