「This hotel is a little gem: clean, well maintained, and with good amenities overall. However, the breakfast arrangement needs urgent improvement. Breakfast is provided through vouchers at a nearby bakery, where I found the staff rude and unhelpful. On my only visit, I showed my voucher, was told to wait, and was then ignored for at least 20 minutes. I eventually paid for my cornetti myself, even though breakfast for at least one person was included in my stay. The lady only acknowledged me when...

「I would highly recommend the Holiday Guesthouse. The host Angela was very friendly and helpful. She made you feel that you were a guest in her own home. Breakfast was excellent, Every morning she made your coffee and eggs to order. She provided fresh fruit, juices, Italian pastries and even home baked goods. The rooms were comfy and quiet. The location was close to the Main Street and an easy walk to the train station.」

「It’s located in ground floor with no view and wet environment 」

「Cute room in the heart of Salerno.」

「Just keep in mind that it’s just a room with a bathroom with other guests next door. The hallway is always dark and they are always asking guests to be quiet. They give you a voucher to get coffee and a treat in a coffee shop nearby. At least their AC worked. But the lady there will turn it off once typical leave the room.」

「Host did not meet us or was there to give us the keys. Courtyard below the room is dark dirty, and not appealing. Furniture in the room was damaged.」

「Phenomenal stay. Wonderful host.」

「There was NO Internet and the shower was a bit musty. But other than that, we felt it worked well for us.」
