Breakfast was average at best. Room was spacious but had problems with bad smells coming through air conditioning. Staff in pool bar were nice but other staff came across as rude. Many rules to follow at the resort. I wouldn’t stay here again. Very basic not sure why it is a resort more of a hotel. I would rate it 3/5.

Lovely hotel and staff. Rooms are a bit hit and miss. Some rooms can do with bit more airing other areas are under reno. Breakfast is fresh and sufficient variety. Would recommend Serene wing.

Best part about this hotel is the location! Easy beach access beautiful beach to the front of hotel & an array of restaurants and bars & temple with night market to the rear.. hotel is getting old and tired could do with a refresh, noisy old fridge in the room and air conditioning unit that sounded like an aircraft taking off, and alas on the last day they tried to sting me for a beach towel in which of course i hadnt taken, the maid had cleaned away and not refreshed … good hotel for the price location even better! But not brilliant facilities

I visited Old Phuket Hotel in 2017 and was disappointed to see a decline in service and quality during my recent stay in 2025. This has always been my favourite hotel, so it saddens me to share these concerns: My room was full of mosquitoes upon check-in, its not surprising but all the doors of the room were all opened on check in. NOT HALAL FRIENDLY - Despite requesting vegetarian scrambled eggs. I was served non vegetarian on both January 7th and 8th, wasting a lot of food. We were given only one key card for the room, which was inconvenient for me and my husband. The blanket in the room was too warm for the hot weather and sparked when removing the cover. I already shared this feedback with the hotel during my stay but unfortunately they had other priorities. I hope the hotel can address these issues and improve its quality and service as it has been my favourite and go to hotel in Phuket.

Siempre será una excelente opción para regresar. Solo recomendaría ampliar un poco el horario de la piscina para poderla disfrutar mucho más.

Convenient location and well designed spaces. Pool is beautiful but could do with expanded evening hours for dip as weather is quite humid and suitable for night swims.The gym and ping pong combined room should allow windows to be opened particularly as AC is off or not working most of the time. Having combined spaces restricts use of ping pong table if someone is walking the treadmill. The AC in our room was very noisy even at low fan - no choice but to have it on at night as room became stuffy without air. We tried sleeping with balcony doors open but mossies made it difficult plus it was more warm and humid. Minor hiccups in otherwise beautiful stay. Due to pandemic its a panned down breakfast and room service and that is understandable for the amount of guests. Most of the shops are just beginning to reopen getting ready for the return of tourists. We found it peaceful, refreshing and lovely place as always. Will stay again.

Deluxe pool access room was extremely large and comfortable, bed was hard but staff were happy to assist by adding a mattress topper. The pool area infront of block 3 (especially rooms 3101 and 3102) needs to be cleaned better as water had a slimy film on it on a few days, which caused me to slip on steps and cut my knee and hurt my foot but I will commend management on offering assistance to take me to hospital and cover expenses, which I declined so manager Dan attended to cleaning, disinfecting and bandaging my knee himself, which I was very grateful of. Security guards at Beach end were extremely friendly and helpful with advice, it was such a pleasure to be greeted by them everyday and have a little chat. Location of hotel is great, with restaurants, 2 mini marts and a few shops and spas in the lane leading from beach end to hotel.

Staffs need to have more training how to treat and take care of the guests while check in and check out ,and also lack of skills to communicate like the others 4 hotel stars do - Need to improve. Breakfast taste is very ordinary and boring. I have to ask more food to replenish due to there is nothing left if you com to have breakfast late.
