We stayed at Canadian for a week. In the Junior Suite, a lovely spacious room with great views. Overall our stay was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again

Beautiful setting

The hotel was laid out beautifully with a great view of Kata beach. The pools were nice. Rooms spacious. Staff were generally helpful and accommodating.

This is the second time we have stayed at Andaman Cannacia Resort and Spa. It truly does not disappoint. Location, staff, amenities and views cannot be faulted. Perfectly positioned with views up the coastline, it is a truly wonderful place to stay in Kata.

The pool, lobby and view from the deck was sheer beauty! Much more of a nature vibe than your average hotel. I’ll definitely be back here in my next Thai trip. Why would I stay anywhere else?

Hotel on a hill with an amazing view

Overall a good hotel with very friendly and kind staff. Especially the manager Wan and hotel staff Nan. At first we weren't satisfied with the room because it was an older not refurbished part of the hotel. The staff gave us a different room in the new refurbished part of the hotel with nicer newer room. The hotel is beautiful and has a nice view over Kata beach. Although the hotel is up a slight hill without sidewalks there is shuttle to Kata Beach every hour. Pool area was good and the gym had everything you need for a holiday workout. Make sure you book in the new part of the hotel.

This property is amazing, the staff are so lovely and welcoming. The swimming pool overlooks the beach, offering incredible views. There is also a shuttle every hour to take you down to the beach so you don't have to walk the steep hill. The rooms are spacious and clean. Absolutely loved this resort so much, We didn't leave it for the first day!

Property is good value for what you get. Has all the facilities and food/drink you’d want in Thailand. Location is good, however, short walks to and from the hotel aren’t the safest so you need transport even for a 1 minute ride. Staff were attentive during the first part of my stay but service dropped as the hotel filled up (I asked for fresh towels for 2 days and eventually had to go and grab some from the laundry cupboard myself).

Nice, large, corner room with a fantastic views and great sunset viewing. Terrific pools with ladder access only, no steps. Not suitable for the disabled and aged. Only one restaurant with limited menu and most items marked unavailable so had to eat in town. Ample staff but not very attentive.

Deluxe Double Room (#201) review

Overall it was a nice stay. A few areas need to be aware of: 1. The road outside of the hotel is steep and difficult to walk. Have no proper pavement or lights, I need to keep my phone light on at night to make sure cars/bikes wouldn’t hit me. 2. The property is not close to the beach. Luckily they provide rides every hour. The pool & beach view is really nice, it wouldn’t be a problem if you love to stay within the resort area only. 3. Rooms are full of mosquitoes and some bed bugs. At the first few nights, room keeper sprayed pesticide but the smell hurt my nose. We ask them not to spray the room then bugs start to show up. We believed one reason is that the room keeper leave the door open the entire time while cleaning 4. Room is spacious, but the layout is weird. We stayed at the deluxe double which the bed is set in the middle of the room. The AC is positioned at the ceiling behind the bed, forcing cold air on my head directly all night gives me headache, but turning AC off would be too hot. 5. Toilets at the reception and next to the pool are full of mosquitoes too. Staffs are extremely helpful & nice. One staff gave us an insect repellent (without me asking) during breakfast because she saw me swatting. And we got greeted by the owner one morning! (He has a sweet grandpa kind of look, very cheerful!) After all the price is worth the stay👍

Honest review, mixed thoughts and feelings and many of the other reviews say the same when checking. Upon arriving we were told we would have to pay a deposit in cash or credit card that was not stated in any of the arrival information sent to us (I have checked). I can see it in the accomodation page itself but it's not easy to know and expect to be told upfront We then were placed in a room which had dirty sheets and ants and insects all over the room, a used contact lens on the side of the room despite a "full clean" being completed.(We have photos). Upon raising this a person came to our room and began to sweep and spray insect repellent everywhere as we tried to sleep. We then asked to move room and was told we may be able to move the next day. Mickey the manager the next day was very understanding and the experience changed. We were put in a better room and no longer had the issues so can tell you can have a mixed experience in this accomodation The front desk person who dealt with us the first night Gaccu was extremely unhelpful and believe this is likely the reason for what we faced. Worth noting this property is on a large hill and the shuttle they provide is not guaranteed despite us booking a slot, so not easy for everyone to get down to the beach Overall the stay was good but not reflective of a 4 star hotel, breakfast was ok and you can see from some of the reviews others had similar experiences. The pool, view and amenities are nice

Absolutely loved this hotel!!! Great location, super close to the beach. We stayed here for 3 nights and wished we stayed here longer! Go to Kata Noi beach. The staff was super friendly, we loved them. Food at the resort is great! 10/10 recommend
