Modern holiday home with pool in Phalsbourg

This nice gite at the foot of the Northern Vosges Mountains has a separate entrance. It has a swimming pool (open from mid-June to mid-September) and the children will have fun with the playground equipment in the garden! Pets are welcome on request.

The location in a quiet village near the Alsace is ideal. From the house beautiful hiking trails start through the surrounding woods and hills and in the centre of the nice village of Phalsbourg (1 km) you can buy groceries. The larger Sarrebourg (20 km) offers various shops, restaurants and a weekly market where you can buy delicious fresh local produce. The view from the famous rock of Dabo (18 km) should not be missed either! A day of shopping in Strasbourg (50 km) is also a possibility.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen and a furnished private terrace with barbecue and lovely loungers.. A catering service provided by Restaurant Lakota is also available here. This is a true dream location for lovers of nature, hiking, cycling and mountain biking.

The accommodation is adjacent to the owners' house, who will be happy to give you tips for an unforgettable holiday in this beautiful region.

Great holiday home! It was spacious and clean, just what we were looking for, The kids had a blast in the garden and the pool was lovely, Owners were super friendly and gave us good tips for exploring the area, Would recommend for families

Świetny wybór na wiejski wypad, Dom był przestronny, a nam bardzo podobał się prywatny taras na wieczorny relaks, Jedynym minusem było Wi-Fi, które było trochę niestabilne, ale zachęciło nas do odłączenia się i cieszenia się otoczeniem

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in deze gite dicht bij Phalsbourg. Mooi gelegen op de top van een heuvel nabij een heel groot bos . De tuin is volledig omheind, waardoor dit een perfecte plek is om je hond mee te nemen. Als je zin hebt, kun je tientallen kilometers fietsen en heel veel relikwieën zien uit het begin van de vorige eeuw. Als klap op de vuurpijl zijn de gastheren erg aardig en meegaand en, wat wij een enorme bonus vonden, is dat ze hun eigen restaurant (Lakota) hebben dat direct voor de deur van je verblijf ligt.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar. De foto’s op de site gaven een iets (betere) indruk. Er was her en der wat achterstallig onderhoud wat ook erkend werd door de eigenaar. Deze had z’n aandacht het afgelopen jaar meer bij z’n restaurant dan voor z’n gite. Ook het terras bij zwembad (wel schoon) mag wel een opknapbeurt hebben. Wel een fijne plek om de noord vogezen te bekijken, saverne (mooi stadje) en verder naar de zuid vogezen ook prima in een dag te doen.

Prima ontvangst door Stephanie en Olivier met een lekkere vers gebakken cake en fles appelsap. Het huisje is prima qua grote en zeker ook de voorzieningen hebben bijgedragen aan onze fijne vakantie. De tuin aan het huisje was een heerlijke losloop plek voor onze hond Chivas aangezien hij volledig omhekt was. Het mooie weer, het privé zwembad, de kippen en het paard in de grote tuin maakte de rustgevende omgeving af. Heel veel kilometers in de bossen gelopen welke vlak naast het huisje liggen met Chivas en ook een aantal toeristische plekken bezocht. We komen in de toekomst nog een keer terug en hopen dan gebruik te kunnen maken van het restaurant welke Olivier aan het bouwen is in een houten blokhut. Echt het enige puntje van kritiek is de kleine bereikbaarheid van de Wifi en het niet kunnen vinden van Nederlandse zenders op de satelliet ontvanger. Notre arrivée c'est très bien déroulée le propriétaire nous a chaleureusement accueilli et montré toute l'habitation. L'hébergement était parfaitement équipé et d'une propreté irréprochable. L'environnement était magnifique.

mooi, gezellig verblijf. Alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig. Alles was netjes. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaars. Zeer rustige en mooie omgeving. Prachtige wandelingen in het bos.Je mag alles op de accommodatie gebruiken het zwembad, bbq, ...). De hond was ook zeer welkom en kon daar naar hartenlust rondrennen. Alles was afgesloten zodat ze niet weg kon. De wandeling samen met de eigenaars (Stephanie en Olivier) was geweldig. De laatste avond samen was heel tof. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Stephanie en Olivier,   bedankt voor de zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije ontvangst. We hebben genoten van onze week vakantie bij jullie. De eerste week zomer, met temperaturen van om en bij de 22 – 29 graden, dit na een zeer natte periode, het kon niet beter! Proficiat met jullie prachtig vakantiehuis met zwembad. Al het positieve wat de verschillende mensen geschreven hebben in het dagboek, kunnen we enkel beamen voor 150%. Een mooie streek in een rustige omgeving. Een aanrader voor iedereen die kan genieten van rust, natuur en gezelligheid. Bedankt voor de gezellige avond om de week af te sluiten met de Picon, tarte flambée en de Rosé. Alle positieve opmerkingen van de vorige reviews kan ik zonder meer onderschrijven Hartelijk gastvrouw en heer. Een tip voor kunstliefhebbers. Sarrebourg een slaperig en wat verwaarloost dorp herbergt een fantastisch kunstwerk, nl. een enorm glas in loodvenster in de Chapelle des Cordelier van Marc Chagall en een schitterend museum daar vlak bij. een aanrader.

Der Elsaß hat touristisch ohnehin viel zu bieten. Ergänzt wird dies durch die ideale Ferienwohnung am Ortsrand von Phalsbourg. Himmlische Ruhe, Super-Betten, eine großzügige und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung, ein angeheizter Kamin und eine gut ausgestattete Küche lassen den Urlaub zur Erholung werden. Eine liebevolle und engagierte Gastgeberfamilie sorgt sich um Euch. Besonders lecker - die elsässischen Flammkuchen, welche der Chefkoch des Hauses selbst zubereitet. Phalsbourg selbst ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Reisen in die nahe Umgebung oder zu für Wanderungen. Alles in allem eine Empfehlung.

Wir waren (nur) für 1 Woche in Phalsbourg im Elsass. Das Elsass ist als Reiseziel sehr zu empfehlen Es gibt viel zu sehen, sehr schöne Natur, delikates Essen und ausgesprochen freundliche Menschen. Bei Familie Kreischer hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Sie sind sehr sympatisch und gastfreundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten uns wunderbar erholen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carpe Diem. The gite was the best we have stayed in over the last 15 years of holidaying in France! Stephanie and Olivier were vey helpful with suggestions for trips out. They even lit the fire for us so that the gite was lovely and warm when we returned from our outings. The location was great, very near to the motorway and several interesting towns including Strasbourg. We would thoroughly recommend this gite.

Van bij de start hebben de huiseigenaars gezorgd voor dat tikkeltje extra dat een vakantie bijzonder maakt. De klik met hen was super, alsook tussen onze en hun kinderen. Wij hebben genoten van het fijne huis en het zwembad, maar vooral van hun vriendschap, de avond tarte flambພ die werd aangeboden, de gezamenlijke aperitiefmomenten, de boswandeling, het familie-zen moment, de cake en wijn, en zoveel meer.De vakantiegite is heel rustig gelegen en ligt gunstig om een aantal dorpjes en steden van daaruit te gaan bezoeken.Dat alles maakt het voor ons een onvergetelijke vakantie.

De ontvangst was zeer gastvrij,de wijn, cake en lekkers voor de kinderen stond al klaar. Het huis was goed schoon en alles was tiptop in orde. Nog niet eerder hebben wij een huis gehad waar zlles zo compleet en top in orde was. Complimenten voor de eigenaar. De uitnodiging voor een avondje tarte flambee eten was een topper, wat een gastvrijheid van deze mensen! Voor ons een vakantie om nooit te vergeten. Wat een schitterdende plek, top zwembad en een fantastische bos in de directe nabijheid. Waar vind je 4 supermarkten in zo'n kleine plaats(lidl,aldi,marechal en leclerq). Als je voor uitstapjes zo'n 100 tot 150 km rijden geen probleem vind is er een enorm aanbod van bezienswaardigheden. Strassbourg en Nancy zijn fantastische shop plaatsen. Een echte aanraders vinden wij voor gezinnen met kinderen.
