「We chose the Illinois River Valley because it is halfway between my home in Kentucky and my brother's home in Minnesota. It is in building Y nestled in a wooded corner of a cluster of lovely cedar-shingled fourplexes behind the Grand Bear Resort. You can walk to the St. Louis Canyon trail from the complex. 「Clean, looks just like picture. Easy to get to. Calm quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from Kroger grocery store and main road with eateries. The Salt Tree Yoga Spa Ottawa is so close to this home, so we got our spa on, grabbed some groceries, and chilled out at a home away from home:). Bare minimum supplies but got the job done for dinner, snacks, and breakfast. Would definitely come back.」

「Great place with all the necessities. Quiet and relaxing place. Great communication with Robert. Easy access. The Grand Bear Resort has a nice little mini golf, corn hole and outdoor bar area which was nice to hang out with friends and family. Starved Rock Park was a quick drive. Utica was a cute little town with many good food options. Would recommend staying here - and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!」
