"Mea , at the front desk, was very helpful and cared that my stay was pleasant, though it was short. I found NuWray easily and was able to park without difficulty. I arrived a little later in the evening, and Mea made sure to check with me so she could be sure someone would be present to check me in. My room was very clean, cozy, and inviting. I appreciated the easy access to water and ice late at night. Though this is a historic building, I found myself insulated from any noise in the hallway - a great bonus for a light sleeper. In all, I would stay at NuWray again and will recommend it in the future. You won’t be disappointed!"

"Peter is an excellent host. Communication re questions/ concerns were answered promptly. All instructions re check in, check out, directions to property, use of property amenities were very detailed and were very helpful. The view was awesome! It was so quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. It was just what we needed for our family gathering of 3 adults and 3 kids. We enjoyed the hot tub, playing volleyball, and making s’mores one evening using the fire pit. We also enjoyed exploring the area including Sugar Mountain. "

"We primarily rented this place to have a place to sleep after a trip to Grandfather Maountain, but it was so much more than that. The fireplace was great and easy to operate, the home was cozy and inviting, very clean with simple and easy checkout instructions. Loved the Keurig machine and coffee selection, and the TV was easy to operate. Enjoyed popcorn and a movie before bed. Would definitely stay here again. One note - the room with the pullout sofa is cold if you dont have one of the provided space heaters that are available in the back bedroom closet.. "
