「El Ranchito Surf Camp. Well, there's not much 'camp' about it. Beautifully landscaped grounds and accommodations. When you have Jiani as a stellar chef and Lorenzo as the perfect surf instructor/fitness coach (nice gym and even better instruction)....well check all the boxes for El Ranchito. Very accommodating hosts, that get you to and on the surf. Nicely sculpted beach break, rights and lefts, only 100 yards to the outside sets (solid 6'+ face). A very memorable and fun experience.」

「Staff was very helpful and courteous. I did not use the pool, but it was clean and well kept. The room was very small, but it was nice and clean. The children’s area is not well kept. I did notice the staff working on remodeling some parts of the property throughout my stay. There’s not much to do around the hotel besides going to the casino. You can catch a cab for $1.65 to the bus terminal station which is bout 5 minutes away from the hotel. There’s a grocery store and some shopping you can do...

「Beautiful hotel, lovely room, and gorgeous setting right above the beach. The menu choices were limited, but both my dinners were delicious, as was my breakfast omelette. No hot water for the showers, but as it was so hot, that wasn’t a big deal. Special shoutout to Yolanda…she was wonderfully accommodating in everything I needed. Will stay here again.」
