"I can't say enough positive things about Arenal Manoa. I was blown away by almost everything. Check-in was easy and the staff was super helpful. One was willing to call the chocolate store for me when I discovered I left my phone there. (thank you, chocolate store staff). There is a good system for tourism pickups, and shuttle drivers are very familiar with Arenal Manoa. One stopped us in the long driveway to point out Howler monkeys in the tree! So cool. Our habitaciòn was perfectly situated on the upper terrace of the beautiful, lush property to see perfect views of the volcano (every day!) plus toucans and tons of other birds. The only wildlife we didn't see and wanted to was a perezoso. We got a VIP deal on hotels.com so they provided a small bottle of wine, chocolates, towel art, an extra lunch free of charge, and a $39 spa credit, which we used. The spa was great, so unique. Definitely try to book a service. Our room was clean minus hormigas (ants) everyday. We evicted the big ones ourselves, then had the cleaning staff try to get the teeny ones. They didn't bother us as much until our last day when they discovered our toiletries. The a/c worked well, the beds were comfy although I could've used another pillow, and the lanai/porch was amazing. Service was pura vida. It's a great location too just outside of La Fortuna. I would very happily stay here again."

"An absolutely incredible stay, beyond all our expectations. Every single detail was perfect, from the exceptional service and the fresh, delicious breakfast, to the beautiful rooms, luxurious showers, and stunning balconies overlooking the rainforest and the gorgeous pools. The entire staff was kind, generous, and always ready to help. It was truly hard to leave this little paradise and go back to reality. Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. Highly, highly recommended!"

"ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PLACE!! Don’t hesitate to book this place. It’s clean, spacious, beautiful inside and out. It’s so close to Fortuna but away from the noise and crowds. The private pool is stunning, as are the views. We saw the volcano from our patio each day. The service was amazing and they gave us endless tips and recommendations that were on point. We travelled as a family with 2 teen boys and everyone loved it. There is AC, the kitchen was stocked with more than we used (juicer, panini press, etc etc). The grounds are beautiful and they have hiking trails. Little restaurant and supermarket very close. We even had a bonus kitty come visit us through our stay. I would recommend this over and over!!"

We especially loved the heated pool — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring — and the cozy fireplace that made evenings warm and peaceful. The whole place felt private, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for a relaxing getaway. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’d happily stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a scenic and relaxing escape!"
