"Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!"

"Great location, out of the touristy area of town, yet a short 4 minute drive to restaurants and shopping. Extremely safe location, we felt very secure in fully gated property, that had 5 total separate units, all private to each other.Directions were spot on and check in was easy.Very clean and nicely appointed, rather new villa. Living space is compact but extremely functional.Host was very responsive and we were very happy with our stay."

Not only was the food delicious, Aaron gave us a tour of the vegetable garden with viewing of the resident sloth 'Crash' and frog and bird watching after dinner. "We loved this hotel. From the first day the property manager stopped us while we were walking the grounds and tried to find a sloth for us. Told us where it normally was and when to see it and we returned the next morning per his guidance am sure enough saw it. He also saw us out on my birthday and wished me a happy birthday which I found very hospitality. Rooms were great, we had villa with tub. Saw lots of wildlife off our deck. Property is gorgeous and the view of the volcano is amazing! Food was great from breakfast, lunch, and dinner (recommend the spicy shrimp). Pools were amazing and the view while you’re in them. I could go on and on about this place. 1000/10 recommend."
