The check-in host was so kind to cancel the room booked directly with the hotel without penalties. I certainly was not expecting that and figured I'd be paying for two rooms due to my oversight. Thank you 21c hotel. That made my day, and I will certainly return. "

"Great spot for visiting our daughter on east campus at duke university. Easy half mile walk to her dorm. We had plenty of room and had a great time in the outdoor space. "

"We had to make an emergency visit to Durham to visit a loved one in ICU. The situation was stressful but this home was mentally refreshing after a 10 hour drive. The host responded quickly to our request for a stay. The house is a nice size and only about 5 minutes from the hospital. It’s an older home but very well maintained and cleaned. The back yard is not large but nice size for a dog. The fence is also high enough for privacy. The community is quiet and neighbors friendly. We felt safe returning home from the hospital around 11 pm. The small church next to the house made us feel like we stepped back in time to a charming community. The house is also very well insulated for sound. Once you close the door you forget you are downtown. Very comfortable beds. "
