Not a pleasant experience

"Me and my girlfriend checked in late, around 10pm. I had booked a room in advance. The receptionist does not know a word in English so it was a struggle. It turned up the hotel has recently started taking bookings through hotels.com and did not know what to do. He took my passport and disappeared ..."
