"We absolutely loved our stay at Mama Shelter Nice. Would come back again and again. The rooms, the decor, the staff, the meals, the pool. It was all brilliant. "The room and hotel in general were very clean, the reception staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel is only a 4 minutes walk from the train station which was convenient to get around (and about a 25 min walk to get to downtown Nice). Although it says it in the name, I wasn't aware that the place was also a "residence" (retirement home), so the building is shared between them and the tourists, which was kind of funny to see. The room was only cleaned once throughout our stay, which can be explained by it not being only a hotel. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Cote d'Azur."

"The hotel was in a great location, very clean with amazing views. The staff were incredible friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was perfect and has so many options and the courtyard to eat was super cute. Would highly recommmend staying here. Was close to the town and beach. Bedrooms were spacious and have aircon but we mainly had the window doors open because the view was just perfection. "

"A lovely stay in villefranche sur mer. Very close to nice and Monaco but also feels completely separate, like your own little get away ville. Comfortable. A sea view balcony is a must. Lovely pool with a view. The town is a 10 min walk away. It’s a toss up if you’d rather stay in the town by the water without the elevated view or at La Flore you are across the street from the bus station but not immediately by anything else. Again- great escape. Would stay again "

"Grounds and pool were lovely. Unhappy with our assigned room but they did not hesitate to offer another which we loved. Short walk along the water into town and to the docks with numerous restaurants. Enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. Very relaxing. "
