「Marielle and Loic were very kind and warm. It felt like I was staying at my favorite cousin’s house, and the home being a Chateau was the icing on the cake. Le Chateau de Lavaud is a gorgeous, serene castle with a generous landscape and spacing. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a quaint, antiquated feel of Spanish / Moroccan design. Le gîte est très bien équipé, les chambres sont spacieuses et chacune à sa salle de bain, ce qui est un plus non négligeable avec des enfants. Le beau temps nous a permis de profiter des extérieurs, de la grande terrasse couverte et surtout de la piscine. Pour être au calme lors d’un moment en famille ou entre amis, n’hésitez pas !」

「On our way back to the UK from the Landes region, we had decided to make a detour to visit the Gallo-Roman Thermal Baths of Cassinomagus (a definite must-see for anyone passing in the region), and we picked the Domaine de la Grange de Quaire as our overnight stopover a few minutes away.
