Summary:

Magnificent 1-bedroom flat extremely well located in the heart of Ile Saint Louis, the most prestigious district of Paris. You will have easy access to numerous cafés, restaurants, shops and must-see tourist and cultural sites.

Spacious, bright, fully-equipped and tastefully decorated, my flat enjoys an exceptional location and is ideal for a successful stay with family, friends or on business.



The Space:

45m2 flat on the 2nd floor (no lift)



- Living room with sofa, 1 table with chairs, Tv, Wifi

- Fully equipped kitchen (hob, microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher)

- 1 bedroom with queen-size bed

- 1 bathroom with shower and 1 toilet



The cleaning fee includes clean sheets and towels for each guest and cleaning is carried out by a professional cleaner.

The Neighborhood:

My flat is ideally located in the centre of Paris on the famous Ile Saint Louis, just a few minutes' walk from Notre-Dame-de-Paris cathedral.

You won't know what to choose between the romantic Square Barye and the 5 bridges that cross it, halfway between the right and left banks, between the Marais and Saint-Germain.

Just a short walk from my accommodation, you can enjoy a treat at the famous Berthillon ice-cream parlour and discover the many typically Parisian cafés, restaurants, bars and bakeries.

Just a few minutes' walk from the Marais

For fashion lovers, the Marais is undoubtedly one of the best shopping districts in Paris! Between the Bhv Marais, luxury boutiques and for vintage fans, the second-hand shops will delight you.

The location is perfect! Bakeries, restaurants, food stores and all within a few steps of the apartment. Excellent proactive communication from the property manager. A little extra cleaning would help. Old dying flowers left on the dining table. Apartment was very quiet and stayed cool despite the hot weather. We loved our week stay and will recommend the apartment to friends and family. Well done.

Health and safety concerns

We are world wide travelers and walked away from a 1600.00 4 nite booking after spending 4 hours in this property. Two primary reasons… health and safety concerns. The apartment was permeated with a chemical/ diesel odor. Not perfume as the manager suggested. I am knowledgeable about such things and there is an air safety issue here. People can get sickSafety… there was no deadbolt to lock the door from the inside. Nothing! Anyone with a key could enter at any time. The door ‘peekhole’ was gone… there was a hole to the outside where the metal peephole would have been. GoneThere were other issues but based on these safety and air health issues we left after 4 hoursOf course the manager has an array of excuses for his issues which I am sure he will respond with. He will not provide a dime of compensation. C’est la vie.. we are safe and healthy

Beyond perfection!

We came to Paris from Hawaii to celebrate my husband's 75th birthday. We could not have found a more perfect location in every way. From the Ille St. Louis we walked and walked and walked in every direction for seven hours a day - and we ate and window shopped, and gallery gawked - and felt only a deep sense of loss when we had to leave "our" Paris "home."

Everything about our stay was 5 star. From the communication, ease of check-in, cleanliness and comfort of the apartment. The location cannot be beat. This is one of the best VRBO experiences I have had. They provide an entire online booklet to answer any questions you may have with photos and videos to make finding and getting into the apartment easy. Next time we come to Paris, this is our first choice of place to stay. Great host, great apartment.

Very spacious! Wonderfully central

We were here in February, so it’s hard to know if this little island is jammed in the summer. But for us, it was quiet, quaint and lovely. So many cute restaurants a short walk away and a bakery and butcher right across the street. The apartment has everything promised in the listing, including the 2 flights of stairs, but you get used to it! The bed is comfy and the bathroom shower is huge. They give you some starter things, like toilet paper, shower gel and paper towels, but no kitchen towels or detergent or things like salt and pepper. The good news is there’s a small grocery store next door. We would stay here again.

Spacious and very comfortable; cannot be more central. Johanna was very kind and helpful. A few things would however need improvement: hot water for the dishwasher; lazy/dysfunctional drainage of toilet; tumble dryer machine :it leaves clothes wet; lack of sponges, dish clothes and several basic cooking items.

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment ideally located in Paris. Easy check in and access to the apartment. Great communication with the property manager. Quaint street with great shops and restaurants. Saw some reviews that talked about the noise coming from downstairs at Berthillion. We didn’t notice anything even with the windows open. Only thing to keep in mind are the stairs to the apartment. It can be a little challenging navigating with suitcases to the third floor. All in all a great place.

Perfect location and comfortable, well equipped apartment.

The modernized apartment in a vintage building allowed us to stay in one of the classic areas of historic Paris without compromise. At 73, we had no problem with the two flights of wide stairs. Walking distance for us to the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Arr. We would happily stay in the apartment again. The use of a professional service to manage our stay was a bonus.

Beautiful modern apartment close to Notre Dame

Absolutely gorgeous apartment with modern mid century style furnishing. Close to the Notre Dame cathedral and metro or bus. Comfortable bed, lovely shower and washer/dryer. Kitchen looked great with a coffee maker and living room nicely furnished with flatscreen, but we didn’t have time to use anything in those rooms. Excellent, responsive communication with owner. Greeted with fresh roses in kitchen and living rooms. Had tickets to Louvre on checkout day and owner allowed us a late checkout for a fee. Phew. Some nice restaurants close by - we are at the cream of Paris every morning with a view of Notre Dame!
