We loved this house. The layout is wonderful; the family/dining/ kitchen area is huge and lined with windows that give you a view of the beach! The sunroom windows open to screens, providing a wonderful place to watch sunrises and sunsets with an ocean breeze, as well as a great place to hang out if it is raining. Under the house is paved, which was a nice surprise - and there was also an outdoor shower and a big sink. I would happily give this property five stars if there had not been multiple maintenance and comfort issues that Pristine Properties did not acknowledge (I contacted them through the guest portal ([under property issues?], email, and made an office visit in person). Their lack of response caused stress that was completely unnecessary. They did send plumbers to fix the problem of no hot water in the Master Shower. BUT other issues I made them aware of they never acknowledged; the kitchen back door lock and doorknob was broken, so entry in and out through that door was not an option, the back porch gate was backward - opening over the stairs instead of the landing, forcing you to back down the stairs to enter and exit - which was dangerous, the converter to turn the bath into a shower was broken in the second bath, the faucet knob was broken off the outdoor foot shower, and lightbulbs were burned out in both lamps and overhead lighting throughout the house. The house overall has none of the welcoming details I usually find in VRBO houses; especially notable was no hairdryers, 1 blanket for the whole house, no serving bowls, not a single roll of paper towels. It just surprised me that the house itself could be this wonderful, but offer absolutely no attention to any small gestures of welcome. I wrote all of this to the management company, explaining I wanted to give the best review possible and only share these concerns with them, but they never responded to me, except with automated "How is your stay?" emails and texts. I think this property could easily rank as a 5-star property if a little attention was given to maintenance and guest comfort.
