LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! Sneaky Scallop is the perfect beach retreat for family fun or to just get away! Located on the northern side of Barrier Dunes, you are just steps away from the sugar white sandy beaches of Cape San Blas.

Comfortable décor, well stocked kitchen, spacious decks and great location make this a perfect getaway! This property is just steps away from the clubhouse and gulf front pool and the pickleball/tennis courts and second pool! The living area also has a spacious open deck to sit and relax and enjoy that morning cup of coffee! There is also a gas grill provided for your convenience.

The living room is spacious area that includes a sleeper sofa and loveseat! There is also a smartTV and WiFi. The dining area has a table which seats 4 comfortably and the bar area has two stools for additional seating!

The kitchen is well stocked with all the supplies you need! There is a stove, refrigerator w/ice maker, microwave, Keurig dual coffee maker and dishwasher. There is also a half bath on this level too!

The second level has a laundry area and two bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed, tv, nightstands with lamps, dresser and private full bath. The spacious open private deck has a gulf view and is perfect for enjoy our spectacular sunsets. The second bedroom has a queen bed, desk, chest of drawers, tv and closet. It also has a private full bath and balcony. The balcony has beautiful views of the gulf and clubhouse.

There is an additional fee if you decide to bring your dog! Barrier Dunes is very accommodating for your favorite 4 legged friend! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs with the $150 non-refundable fee.

50% of balance due is due at booking and the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to check-in.
All reservations require sending in a copy of your government issued ID for age verification purposes.

The property was in an excellent location and was well furnished. My only criticism is that the bedroom sliding glass doors would not open, so we could not enjoy the balconies. I would definitely stay here again.

Great beach hideaway

Comfortable place steps away from the beach. Comfortable stay and all that we needed. Have to be ok with stairs tho ☺️ Thanks to our great host who was very responsive!

Perfect getaway spot.

The Sneaky Scallop was nicer than the photos can convey. The location is great and pretty much everything you could need is provided. Stephanie was responsive to questions, although we had no major issues while there. I highly recommend this unit, complex, and area. We wish we’d booked for a longer stay.

The location of our unit was great. Not much of a walk to either pool or beach. Very nice area and neighboring visitors. Only a few minor issues, master shower had no pressure to be able to use the shower, the deck door didn’t lock, and 1/2 bath door did not shut completely. Overall great stay and will use again!

The property was super nice to stay in, never had any issues that needed communication with the owners. The property is super close the beach, which is pristine. Will definitely come back again!

The unit was in the perfect spot. Not too close to the beach that you got sand everywhere but close enough for it not to be a hike. Amazing views as well. The unit itself was well stocked with everything you would need. Had a great amount of space and an open bottom floor. You could tell it had been cleaned but also that certain areas were missed routinely. Places like the top of the mirror and the ceiling (around the fan) had visible dust but I really kind of expect that in most places. The only issues with the building itself the bathroom door would not latch, and the dryer was not working. Otherwise a great rental all in all. Just needs a deep clean and those 2 issues fixed and it's a perfect place to stay.

Disappointed

The location and property grounds were wonderful, but everything else was disappointing. It was dirty and in need of some serious repairs. Many things were broken, and overall our stay was not comfortable. There were cockroaches. I loved Cape San Blas but would not stay at this particular place again. They need to invest in some renovations before they continue to rent this place out.

Florida home away from home

Loved the rental property, it made me want to buy a place in Florida. The grounds are amazing with heated and non heated swimming pools, tennis or pickle ball courts, great walkways, family friendly, and just steps from pristine beaches. We plan on visiting again soon, best trip ever!

Deck steps need repaired. One step is really loose. It almost made my husband trip and fall! Hooks on the bathroom doors for hanging things would be good. We enjoyed the location!! We’ll recommend and definitely be back

Nice little place for a getaway

Located close to the beach with a view of the ocean from the balcony . We took our dog and meet many other dog owners while we were there. I recomend this unit for your next getaway.

Sneaky Scallop was just right for our family!

The unit was clean and comfortable for our family of 4 and our Golden Retriever! The beach location was perfect... not too far from our door to the sand. Beautiful calm Blue waters, perfect for our stand up paddle boards! We had a Blast! Keep in mind that the kitchen has all the cooking utensils you'll need but bring your spices including salt and pepper (maybe due to covid - extra precaution to keep things Sanitary). We really loved our stay at Sneaky Scallop!

steps to the beach

This property is literally steps to the beach and the beach is fabulous in this area. Bring your own food. This is a secluded area with not many places to eat which is a positive if you just want to sit back and relax and get away from the touristy areas.
