"They could use some more umbrellas at this pool, but other than that, I really love this property and the staff. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the AC in our room and they couldn’t offer us another as it was sold out so we had to check out and get into another hotel which we ended up paying double, last minute spring break. That was a bummer but I still would stay here again. I love this place."

The only negative comments I have is the suite we stayed in had some minor fixes which should have been handled before our stay, i.e., jacuzzi jets did not work, loose door handles, shower tap leaked, cleanliness could have been better. All in all it was a beautiful place and location just need to step it up a bit. Would definitely stay there again."

"The property in general is nice but in need of an upgrade. Worn carpets, worn bathroom fixtures, no USB ports. In addition to the resort fee there’s a $30/night parking fee. The property is charging premium prices for just sub par facilities. Most 3 star hotels are much nicer than this Hyatt. "

"Overall great hotel, but for a $450 hotel that takes $70 resort fee (and we spent extras in the restaruants and pools) I would expect not to be greedy when I ask to stay an extra hour and ask me to pay $150 (for 2 hours!!!) while saying celarly that they will check if the room is booked or if its possible and getting back to me that it is free / possible - why not going the extra mile for excelent experiese vs. coming across greedy (on thop of the resort fee). Dissapointing.... Also had ripped sheets (hostel style) "

"The best thing about this hotel is its location. Right in the middle of all of the Palm Springs downtown attractions. The common areas are attactive with the navy blue and white decor. The pool area is quite nice and relaxing. Our room was right beside the reception / breakfast / restaurant area. While convenient, the room itself was rather small and very dark and when we opened the door we felt like everyone who was in the lobby or going to breakfast was right on top of us. It also was a little musty smelling until we got the AC working. I think many of the other rooms looked nicer and larger, although some were also dark. The couple we were traveling with stayed in a much larger room, but their AC went out on the third day and they spent two miserable nights until they got a new room. Also, the breakfast, which was included, was OK but the same limited options were offered every day. Each room does have interesting decorations, includinge bookshelves, books, knick-knacks, and a fully stocked mini-fridge and mini-bar with items for purchase. There is NO TV in the room or anywhere on the property. We had lunch there and it was very good. If we go back, we probably would try another place. But this one I would rate a solid B+ overall."
