"The hotel is a 4minute walk from Brignole train station. Normally I wouldn’t stay that close to a train station but this one makes an excellent exception. It is up a hill from the station and in a terrific location to explore Genoa. Within in 5-10 minutes of walking you are in the main shopping areas of Genoa. There are tons of little restaurants featuring focaccia bread and other treats. The hotel is spotless, beautifully appointed with clean and modern rooms. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good with a great assortment of breakfast food and some sweet treats as well. On our opinion it is the best place to stay in Genoa!"

"Beware. There is no sign showing the hotel. Makes it extremely difficult to find if you walk there, say from the station, the area is car-free which is great. But the tiny alleys make it a certainty you will get lost. The hotel should provide good maps to help you. Google Maps etc is useless."

"I liked this hotel. It's in a great location, right in the middle of the old quarter, with lots of great places to see nearby. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I would only offer one suggestion. Reception is on the top floor, but there is nothing on the ground floor telling one that, so it took me quite a while to figure out where to go to register. I would recommend placing a sign at the first floor entrance telling people where reception is."
