The hotel was amazing and well maintained and upgraded, we loved the hotel and we tried to extend our stay but unfortunately it was full, the staff at reception the first day was very nice and helpful and the process was smooth and easy, BUT the STAFF at the time of our departure was very rude and very awkward and aggressive and I’m still wondering why? There was no reason for that attitude towards us. but after all the Hotel is one of the greatest hotels in London and I’m definitely coming back...

Delightful experience to stay here. Quirky, boutique hotel with personality in the building and the staff. Attentive, highly responsive and welcoming staff. Like the building, the room was non-standard in its layout, making the most of the available space and the location. Well equipped and well appointed room with all amenities and while a few of the furniture items showed some wear, the mattress was firm, bedding was crisp and clean and the toilet and shower were immaculate. Second time staying at the Delmere before flying home to the US. It’s a great option; two blocks from Paddington Station and the Heathrow Express, tons of great restaurants within walking distance and the hotel itself has modern, clean rooms. I’ve stayed on the lower level at the back and it’s super quiet.

The room was extremely spacious. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast delicious!

The apartment is perfectly located only a couple of blocks from the Paddington train station. In our case, we got assigned an apartment in an adjacent building and it was in a basement (although it did have a tiny patio with some light surrounded by high walls). The apartment was good, although a bit musky and very humid. The staff was excellent and provided anything we needed. A good buy for the price if you are OK with a place that has no sunlight and is a bit humid.

Everything was great. Actually got in my room when I arrived on both my visits there. Staff were lovely and great location. Rooms abit small but all you need. The superior plus rooms have the air conditioning which might be a must in summer. The rest of the rooms don’t. Just a heads up when you are booking.

Perfect location, close to Paddington Station and all we could’ve needed. Rooms were quiet and sufficiently furnished. Would only request consideration for soap and hand towels in the bathrooms. Otherwise, quite a delightful stay. Highly recommend and will be looking forward to staying again!

The Darlington is an immaculately clean and well run hotel.

I hope this review helps someone as much as other reviews helped me. This was our firat time in London so we disnt know what to expect. The hotels location is super convenient especially because it is a 2 minute walk to Paddington station. The hotel room itself is snug but you can work around it. You have a fully functioning kitchenette equipped with stove, fridge and microwave. The bathrooms are on the smaller side but the water is hot. Breakfast is included and it is quite nice. Great overnight stay. After 12 hours of traveling it was wonderful to be greeted by a friendly, efficient and knowledgeable front desk! Rooms are as described small but clean, freshly remodeled. Excellent value for the piece. Location is the best! Will stay here again.

The hotel was very clean. Check in was super easy. The bar was great too. We loved the proximity to Paddington Station.
