「Room did NOT look like the picture. Property is poorly maintained outside. Smoke alarm woke us up at 4am and didn’t stop. It felt like a low quality hotel, but it was clean. Clean, yes…but not at all what we expected . No reception and wifi did not work at all - it’s a public WiFi. The room didn’t match the price for the night. Wouldn’t stay here again unless they made some major upgrades/improvements.」

「The only small thing that I would mention for improvement would be if the reservation confirmation texts/emails stated the physical address of the property, or if the website for Hotel Dega stated the physical address of the property, or both. I had a little difficulty finding out what the address of this property is so that I could drive my car there.」

「Beautiful room, nice amount of space. The view was a little less than nice upon arrival because the estuary was at low tide so the outlook on the water was patchy. The following morning it was full and looked much better. In the room there was a single lamp between the two queen beds and it was hard to read a book with poor illumination. The bathroom shower was poorly designed and water went all over the floor due to the half glass wall. On the bright side, check in was easy, no extra charges or...

「The 2 bedroom house was newly remodeled. Very comfortable. Our window overlooked the ocean, front and back and the lighthouse.」

「The casita was a perfect little spot for my wife and I. The neighborhood is quiet, the location was ideal, the bed was very comfortable (softest sheets I’ve ever slept on), the kitchenette is well appointed with everything we needed, the shower felt wonderful and I especially enjoyed my morning coffee outside listening to and watching the hummingbirds banter about. Nancy and Jim are wonderful hosts and we appreciated being there at their casita. It’s definitely worth staying here. 」

「 Very charming little house, perfect for 3 adults and 2 small dogs. Appreciated the host, got to meet on day one and helped us unload so our dogs could get out to the back yard after a 12 hour drive. It was perfectly located and we were so happy for the parking. Highly recommend this place and plan on renting again when we come back all together. Thanks for the wonderful experience! So impressed and love this house so much.」

「Very clean, almost brand new! Bright unit with the cutest courtyard. I walked to get groceries, coffee, wine, breakfast and shopping. Short walk to the water although, not a sandy beach but I didn’t care. I would stay here again! 」
