Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport
As expected my room and services was first rate. This trip I found several small restaurants actually on the footprint of the hotel area. These were uncrowded and easy to dine in.

Star Gate Hotel Kansai Airport
I had to book this hotel last minute, because my flight was late and I couldn't get to Kyoto on time. I booked the smoking room by mistake, the staff was really accommodating and moved me to a non-smoking room. The room was extremely clean, spacious with an amazing view
