"Good property and as advertised, it was very close to the beach, and all the main amenities are within walking distance. I didn't like having to pay (10 USD) to go to the beach, but that is outside the landlord's control. I'm including that comment so people know. The living room didn't have any AC, and I wish I had known this before going. The ceiling fan worked OK, and the heat wasn't overwhelming, but AC would have been ideal. In all, I would stay here again if I ever come to Jamaica."

"This property was an unexpected great find in Robins Bay. Just 3 minutes from the fork in the town. The view of the ocean, the comfortable mattress, the lovely fruit trees and the spacious living room and verandah helped to make our stay a very pleasant one. Aleisha was extremely responsive and her husband Wray and Miss Chunny took care of every detail. "The place was clean, the guy on site made aure.to clean up daily, wish the mention a cat on site. I am not allergic jist very afraid. The room was good. I spent most time out. So didn't use.it.much. but I the tub did not flow. The drain was not working. There was ants everywhere, the place needs to be fumigated. But the overall was decent... water worked, ac work, light worked .except for the night Jps took away light... Jamaica heat with no fan or ac is no joke...."

"A budget hotel that has nice views of the ocean. If you looking for somewhere that has a view then this is perfect. The property could be updated. I believe if they just change the tiling and apply some paint with minor art work and murals that place would be perfect. For now tho if you are on a budget then this is the place."

"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. If you’re planning a short trip and want somewhere comfortable to stay, I highly recommend the Sand and Tan beach Hotel. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the parties on the weekend are so much fun. If you’re a young couple or anyone looking to immerse yourself in Jamaican culture with great food and great service, then this is the perfect place for you. It is perfectly situated in Ocho Rios where you can access the great excursions nearby and the staff are all friendly and willing to assist you with anything you need. I will definitely be looking to return in the future."

"We just spent 7 nights at Royal Plantation. What a beautiful and special place. The grounds are immaculately kept and there is a great sense of pride from all staff in making the resort feel more like a home away from home. Every single staff member we interacted with were so friendly and took time out of their day to stop and have a chat. We loved meeting all of them. We always felt so well taken care of. There was nothing that was ever too much trouble. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our butlers Anthony and Robert made us feel so special and we loved all the little surprises they arranged. The general manager Omar is a huge credit to Sandals and does an incredible job making you aware of his presence and checking in on us to ask if there was anything we needed. The food and drinks are 10/10 we did not have a bad meal and there were many stand out dishes. We hope to be back and see everyone again very soon. Thank you"
