"This is the perfect location to stay in Amboise. The Chateau is out the hotel back door, around the corner and up the ramp. The connecting restaurant was fantastic! We loved Amboise! "

"The breakfast can be better. Eggs were tough on the sides because no one was stirring them to keep them fresh. Salmon had grey edges from spending too much time outside the refrigerator. The rooms need to have slippers and robes, the floors need to be fixed, they are not straight and it's annoying. The hair dryer is horrible, please replace it with a proper powerful hairdryer, it's unusable. Everything else is excellent. "

"Sauna was broken that day but the steam room and pool were great temperatures and condition. No vegetarian options whatsover meant had to drove out. Room would have been 4* except someone had smoked in it some point in its past...easily dealt with by the window open- overall a great stay"

"Our hosts Carole and Ousmane were lovely. The property is homely and very comfortable. We were there for 2 nights and had dinner there on the first night as we were out for the second night. They made us lovely home made pizzas which were thoroughly enjoyed in the outdoors with a beautiful bottle of rose wine. Ousmane is the main cook and we tasted some of his home creations in the form of some chilli sauce and some conserves over breakfast. The location is fantastic if you are visiting Zoo...
