5mn walk to Domaine Chaumont chateau. Extrememy peacefull and well maintained. A little bit difficult to find even with the GPS but worth the 10mn détour. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The dining option at the Grand Chaume was a wonderful experience with a Chef trained by a Michelin star. It was a off season peak we avoided the crowd with a beautiful early blue sky and flowers.

For a new hotel it was poorly designed . Extremely and unnecessarily steep stairs to upper floor room. Odd room layout, despite the reasonably generous space it was necessary to duck to reach one side of the bed. Best view from the room was from the bathroom. Sockets in inconvenient places. Lamps had bases too wide for the shelf. Clothes hanging area could have accommodated two cases if the shelves had been differently positioned. Bathroom floor was dirty and stained

The accommodation is superb. A beautiful garden and peaceful beautifully designed accomodation. I had the pleasure of sleeping in the little hut. The photos do not do it justice. It was amazing.

Je venais sur deux jours découvrir le millésime 2025 des Jardin de Chaudron et souhaite être seul pour mieux réfléchir à l’aménagement de notre nouvelle maison dans la Drôme ainsi qu’un sujet professionnel. C’était vraiment top d’être juste à côté du jardin, de bénéficier d’un jardin exceptionnel avec notamment une Marère Devant le restaurant petit déjeuner c’était vraiment top une petite déception sur le verre de vin qui était vraiment trop cher

Accueil très bon, confort de la chambre, très mo moyen, lavabo près de la machine à café (Une seule dosette, mesquin ) Pour ouvrir ou fermer les volets, obligation de monter sur le lit qui, par ailleurs était très confortable, petit déjeuner bien, mais cher, 22€ pris sous me regard peu avenant d'une sorte de surveillante... la situation de l'hôtel, parfaite et l'endroit est parfaitement silencieux.

Exceptionnel !

Accueil exceptionnel, mention spéciale pour l’hôtesse … le lieu est magique, la chambre très bien décorée et très confortable. Le restaurant < le grand chaume > était aussi une très belle découverte. Rapport qualité prix très correct, le service le lieu et les plats au top, et le passage du chef en fin de repas clôture cette très bonne expérience…. Hâte d’y revenir

Inconfortable au nom de l'écologie

Sans le savoir lors de la réservation, nous avons loué une "chambre - alcôve" présentant de nombreux inconvénients: -- nécessité de se déplacer sur le lit à 4 pattes ou par bonds arrière pour se coucher, ce qui est totalement inadapté à des personnes âgées ayant des problèmes de mobilité; -- absence de salle de bains: le lavabo est contre un mur de la chambre, la douche est encastrée en face sans aucune patère pour mettre les serviettes; -- absence de fauteuil, donc aucun moyen de se reposer, sauf à se coucher (voir problème ci-dessus) -- impossibilité de régler le chauffage. -- tentures sombres pour rappeler des "fleurs séchées" (sic). Evidemment l'environnement naturel est beau, mais la revendication écologique appliquée à l'hébergement conduit à l'écologie punitive : le confort doit être banni ! Comme les tarifs sont assez élevés, le rapport qualité/prix est faible.
