"We enjoyed our stay at the Empire Grand Hotel. The staff were wonderful and helpful, the entire hotel was immaculate. There isn’t a lot in the immediate area. We took a cab to the train, inexpensive, to get around. I highly recommend this hotel!!!"

"We had a wonderful experience during our stay. The spacious rooms and basic kitchen are perfect for a family trip. However, a downside is that the hotel doesn't offer luggage storage before check-in or after check-out."

"Pros: The apartment is very spacious with covered balcony. They reimburse the taxi fare from Hakata train station to the apartment on the arrival date. The staff is extremely nice. Cons: Next to the train tracks and freeway. The train runs until midnight and starts again at 6 AM. Quite far, 30 mins walk to Hakata Station. Noise from neighbors can be an issue as most of the tourists in this area are from China, Korea, Thailand, they can be inconsiderate and rowdy until late at night."
