The room was HUGE by Japanese standards. The lobby was gorgeous and the staff was very welcoming. The vanilla lattes in the cafe were a morning must.

The best hotel I've stayed at this trip. Huge room, amazing showerhead experience (different modes), huge bathroom, comfy bed, smells great, Free self parking and lounge for vip access. 5 mins walk to Hakata station. Everything here shouts luxury. Will definitely come back!

Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel is very calm and only a 5 min walk from Hakata station. Wish there was an English speaking member of staff to ask a few questions about local dining options as there are so many restaurants near by. Convenient to have a Family Mart convenience store next door.

great hotel to stay

The location is very close to Hakata Station—just a few minutes’ walk—making transportation extremely convenient. There are two great breakfast spots on the first floor (The Local and 33cafe), perfect if you’re not having the hotel breakfast. There’s also a park right in front of the hotel where you can enjoy a relaxing morning walk.

Spacious and clean rooms in a beautifully designed hotel, perfect for books lover but probably not for international guest who do not read Japanese. Receptionist not as eloquent in English and did not know about any “Expedia VIP access” such as free parking only until we explained. No service beverage for guest like most traditional hotels in Japan, bottled water are only provided to match number of adults and charged at ¥200 each. We travelled as 2 adults and 2 children, only 2 bottles of water provided, better could be done in this aspect.

Everything is great … especially the staffs are friendly and very helpful. The scent in the hotel is very pleasant and nice. The only downside is the phone in the room. It is a cellphone and always not working. So u might need to go downstairs to the lobby to make your request.

Overall clean room, great staff, and wonderful amenities such as free bottle of water everyday. Loved how we had thw option to choose the degree of room cleaning and/or clean towels. The only issue was a mold/mildew like smell in the bathtub/shower room. The drain area may need somw inspection and cleaning to remove the smell.

Comfortable stay

We needed a place close to the hakata station, that was comfortable and had parking all of which this hotel had. There aren't any luxurys, but it had all we needed.

Room is new, clean and tidy. The room is quite big among other hotel room in Japan. All the design here is minimalist. Cafes around the hotel are nice and cozy. Only thing that it can be improved are: more hangers are needed; room somehow just a little bit too dim.

I was pleasantly surprised with the contemporary architecture and decor of the property. Very well appointed and the guest rooms are large and very nice. I especially liked the shower and separate tub. Unfortunately the fitness center is sparce and could use a few more machines or weights. I also wish they would offer towels at the fitness center and had a hot bath. Great convenient location near to Hakata Station and many dining options and so much shopping selections.
