"Only good thing I can say about the property. The room was clean when I came in the lobby was set at 80° and never changed the whole time. I was there got up to the room. We set the temperature to 60° to cool down the room. It never felt like 60°. The whole place was supposed to be a smoke free location the whole room smelled that way, and the location was full. You have to get to the breakfast early because they would never restocked what they had."

"Apparently this property was a Holiday Inn. Now under new ownership, it appears to be still in the process of conversion. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a decent place to stay. Rooms are large and clean as are the bathrooms. Included breakfast is a nice amenity. Staff is friendly and helpful"

"Kimberly, who checked us in at the desk was very kind, efficient, and helpful. I mentioned wanting to eat at the restaurant and she gave me an excellent recommendation of her favorite offering and also showed us a shortcut to the restaurant from our room. The room was comfortable. I again noticed the huge, fluffy bath towels and the excellent toiletry sipplues, which smell so good. This is the best hotel value ever, I think."

"Hotel stay was excellent. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The hotel is old and therefore the rooms feel outdated but that's part of the charm. Now for the downsides. The free breakfast was basic. Fresh fruit, packaged cereals, yogurt and a waffle iron to make your own waffles. We didn't eat the breakfast since we like different options. I'm not saying the breakfast is bad, just underwhelming but it is free so I know many people would be more than satisfied with that. The only other issue is the road noise. This hotel is right on the main street and traffic noise is noticeable. I wasn't too bothered by it but my girlfriend was. Again this is an older hotel and expectations should consider this. Overall a lovely stay in an historic hotel with great staff."
