"Amenities are nice i.e. pool, lobby restaurant/bar, and fitness center. Close to local shops and eateries. The negative was that my room faced the air conditioning unit for the building which required me to keep curtains close, it was an eye sore for sure."

"Stayed in this hotel before, it is going thru renovations now, so the room is in good shape but there is some noise during the day. Overall, had a good stay and will be back."

"I had a very disappointing experience at Motel 6 Ventura Beach. The AC in my room was not working, so I went to the front desk to request a room change. Unfortunately, the receptionist closed the office door in front of me without responding and put up a “shift change” sign while I was standing there. I waited for about 20 minutes, and when he finally opened the door, he spoke very rudely and was not helpful at all. There was no apology, no professionalism, and no concern for the inconvenience caused. Overall, this was one of the worst stays I have experienced. Basic hospitality and respectful communication were completely lacking. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves customer service for future guests."

"Oceanview room and being able to walk out was nice and convenient but with an extra price. The couch in the room was pretty ran down and stained with dirt. Several curtains in room had stains on them as well. Dive bar which is the game room and bar closed at 7pm on a Saturday night, you would think it’s a resort that it would be open much later for guest to enjoy. No pets allowed in the pool area. "

"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was very nice and, most importantly, clean, which always makes a big difference. The space felt comfortable and well-kept. The only small downside was that the towels were a bit thin, but overall it was still a very good stay. I would definitely consider staying here again."
