「My husband and I came with our 2 teenage children again this year. They participated in the Compass program at Montreat College and we stayed close by in this cabin. This was our 2nd time staying in this home and it met all our needs. The owners communicated quickly, kindly, and professionally on the few questions we had. 「This cabin is just as described. It felt like we were right at home. The bed was comfy. Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items you would need--we did cook a few meals here. We also checked out several of the local restaurants and towns. We enjoyed several evenings on the enclosed deck--it was just so nice to sit and listen to nature and be lost in your thoughts. The neighborhood is beautiful. There is a cabin next door that can be rented as well--we talked about having our kids/grandkids...

「We had the best time at the historic cottage. It was exactly as described and in the best location. Once we parked the car we were able to walk to everything. The front porch was perfect for hanging out. You can hear music from various places on the porch although it wasn't bad inside and we had no problems sleeping. 」

「Wonderful property Beautiful home」

「Our family of five, all adults, and furry members enjoyed the location, quietness, hot tub and visiting the Black Mountain Sourwood Festival. The location of the property is great. The drive up rocky driveway with some ruts was like an added theme ride, but do-able. The cabin itself is very roomy and for our short stay was very nice. 」

「Very convenient to all of our wants for our stay in Black Mountain. Brenda is a great hostess, so helpful when we needed assistance for my husband. She went beyond what was required, and we appreciate it so much. The cottage is so cute - as my daughter said - Adorable! Wi-Fi worked perfectly. television is good as well. 「This is the cutest little cottage. We truly enjoyed our stay here. It was so nice and clean. You truly felt right at home. The patio was perfect and we even got to see some bunnies! Truly felt like our own private oasis. 」

「This home we so comfortable! The outside landscaping needed some work, but once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, stocked with anything we’d need, and so cozy. We drove into town, which took no time, and were around the best restaurants! We want to come back for sure. Just a note for those with littles, the 3rd bedroom upstairs handles three beds, which is great, but there is no door at the bottom or top of the stairs. Had to keep an eye on our toddler. Everyone loved this...
