Roussillon: a house in the village centre for 4-6 with a garden & swimming pool
10/10 Excellent
"Wir verbrachten mit drei Kindern (10,8 und 1) zwei wundervolle Wochen. Die Gastgeber empfingen uns sehr herzlich, mit Baguette, Wein, Olivenpaste und diversen Getränken (Saft, Wasser, Milch) für die Kinder. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war hervorragend und es wurde alles zeitlich passend (Reisebett für Baby vorbereiten, Ankunftszeit..etc) abgestimmt. Wir liebten den sauberen, großen Pool und die verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten zum frühstücken bzw. für das Abendessen. Die Küche war etwas klein und wir waren froh, ein Schälmesser und scharfe Messer zum Kochen mitgebracht zu haben (was ja aber eigentlich in jedem Ferienhaus nötig ist) und empfehlen für die Abendstunden sich ordentlich mit AntiMückenspray einzusprühen. Die Bäckerei war direkt um die Ecke, Eisdielen und Restaurants ebenfalls. Lage absolut perfekt! Wir haben nicht viel von den Touristen mitbekommen, man hört ab und an nur welche auf dem Kiesweg vor dem Haus hermarschieren, was aber nicht großartig gestört hat. Roussillon ist in den Abendstunden wunderschön, wir können empfehlen, abends hoch zum Aussichtspunkt an der Kirche zu gehen und die wundervolle Landschaft zu genießen. Gordes, Apt, Orange, Avignon, die Pont du Gard und viele andere Sehenswürdigkeiten lassen sich mit dem Auto auf Tagestouren erkunden. Unter der Pont du Gard kann man baden gehen, auch empfehlenswert. Nochmals tausend Dank an Cyrille und Marie-Amelie für Ihre Gastfreundschaft!"

"Dieses Ferienhaus ist großartig. Wir haben einen ganz wunderbaren Urlaub dort verlebt.Ruhige Lage, umgeben von Wald. Zu Fuß kann man Roussillon sehr gut erreichen. Ca. 15 min zum Bäcker und zu einem kleinen Supermarkt. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, es fehlt nichts. Die zwei Terrassen, der Außenbereich und der Poll sind einfach wunderbar.Anne und Thierry sind ganz wunderbare Gastgeber, sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Kommunikation und Check-in und out ohne Probleme."

"This beautiful property is located on a hillside overlooking the local Provence countryside. It is a bit secluded, but that is why you booked here, right? The rooms are large and well appointed (we booked a deluxe room) and live up to the 5-star rating. The restaurant for dinner is highly recommended for an upscale culinary treat while staying at the hotel. We had an amazing prix-fixe meal that was the highlight of our stay. The breakfast buffet is sufficient for a hotel of this caliber, but they could do more to elevate the experience. While the pool is nice and in a great setting, the poolside catering is almost nonexistent. They should have serving staff do the rounds to take orders for guests lounging at the pool. The only disappointment of our stay was the gym facilities. You really cannot call this a gym or fitness room, as the room itself is glass-encased, making it too hot during the day to workout in. The big miss is that there are no dumbbells or any respectable fitness equipment to speak of. This is a huge oversight for guests who are planning for a multiday stay."

"Fantastisk udsigt fra terrassen, godt poolområde, beliggenhed i kort afstand fra smukke landsbyer, markeder og vandreruter og gode vingårde. Vi var 8 voksne og et barn med god plads. Gode værelser, senge og badeværelser. Rent og pænt. Alt i god stand. Meget god kommunikation med værten."
