"Very picturesque and convenient location. By European standards, very spacious rooms. My only concern is that they do not heat the rooms from May until November. Our visit was during an unusually cold period in May and our room never got warmer than 20C. "

Our room was spacious, had comfortable beds, and offered a lovely view overlooking the gardens. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. "

"We had an enjoyable stay. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and accommodated our request for a different room without hesitation when we raised some problems. The outdoor area around the pool was very nice to relax. There was a good range of drinks from the bar which were very good value. It was a shame that there wasn’t a bar facility available for residents after around 11pm. It was good to have secure parking available at the hotel which was well situated for going to the rugby ground."
