We enjoyed our stay overall, great location, despite several things we were extremely disappointed about. Door code did not work upon arrival which made check-in very frustrating. Prop mgmt helped us get in using lockout key. Going forward we had a lot of difficulty with the keypad door lock. This was reported to prop mgmt who sent someone over - had to lock/unlock the door while simultaneously entering key code and pulling in on the door. If the door is not locked this way, it can’t be opened again without using the lockout key. When we continued to report the difficulty, we were told that’s just how the door works.
The second issue was there was NO WiFi or cable TV. We escalated this to prop mgmt immediately upon arrival and we were told day after day that they were looking into it but nothing was done until 5 days into our stay! We have stayed in many rental properties in the past and never experienced such a problem. A few additional nits that we didn’t even bother escalating to mgmt given the more pressing issues with door lock and lack of WiFi were the filthy dishes with caked on food on silverware and pots/pans, pans were warped, blender missing seal/leaked, ice machine didn’t work, filthy bunk bed steps, extremely uncomfortable bed in master BR, sliding glass door to patio didn’t work properly, and dryer took hours to dry clothes.
For the money paid we would have expected much higher quality. Hopefully property mgmt will focus more attention to detail in future
