「Neat and tidy, nice staff」

「The property and rooms were lovely. There was a front and back gate with an access code for the back gate. Maria was lovely and very accommodating. It was that small personal touch that made a difference. Breakfast was absolutely perfect and the bar allowed you to share a drink with other guests. We would definitely stay again and wish we could have stayed a little longer.」

「We decided on this hotel because of the excellent rating on Expedia. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. We stayed in one of the family rooms. 「First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too. 「Really nice, family run hotel a few minutes from the village centre. The room was very clean and the food (breakfast) was very good. Very recommended for a family especially if you want a base to visit the D-Day beaches etc.」
