「What a wonderful place to spend 7 days & nights. Done a fair bit of driving through the Fjords over a couple of trips and the road up to Urke and our final destination takes some beating. Amazing place. An added bonus was getting out onto the Fjord on the boat that comes with wth cottage. Thank you Thorunn for all your help and advice which all added to making it an unforgettable few days.」

「This cottage so close to the sea, was really a pearl. We woke up to the sound from the waves. The morning coffee we enjoyed on one of the two terraces looking at the picturesque view . So nice and cozy place with a soul (one of the places you would really like to keep as a secret and not to tell anyone). 「We had an amazing stay at Trysil Hyttegrend, and would recommend it to anybody who wants to go skiing in Trysil. Roughly a 10 minute drive to the Trysil ski hills, and the cabin had everything we could want (great heating, TV, a lot of utensils, soap, toilet paper etc. etc.) The baguettes for breakfast were really good too. we used them to make sandwiches for the mountains, and saved a bunch of money compared to buying food on the mountain that way.」

For us it served as a very nice base while we explored the area for a few days. What is not immediately obvious from the photos is that this property is right next door to the owner's house which really limits your privacy somewhat.
