「This unit was extremely cute and better looking than in the photos. We were very impressed! It’s a small house with windows on all sides making it very light and airy inside. I’ve never seen any VRBO as well-coordinated as this one! The house is in a sparsely populated area with an ocean view. On a clear day you can see the mountains from the Olympic Peninsula. 「My husband and I stayed here two nights as a break in our travels and it was just what we needed. The view of the lakes are just beautiful and the property is lovely. The owner is easy to reach and friendly. This is probably the nicest VRBO we've stayed in to date. The decor is beautiful and they've thought of every detail to make this a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend.」

「Property is in amazing condition and has wonderful views of the sound. Everything was clean and ready for us. Check-in was easy. Owners were extremely friendly. The location is a bit remote, so if that is what you are looking for, you are in luck. But be prepared for a drive to Roche Harbor (or a long walk).」

「This apartment above the garage at the back of the property is exactly as described. The kitchen is well stocked, and the bed and furniture are all very comfortable. There are 17 steps to climb so if mobility is an issue, you'll want to keep this in mind. However, if it isn't, I highly recommend this property. There's even a nice little patio and bbq for your use. Holly was communicative without being iintrusive and kindly shared her delicious tomatoes with us.」

「New, lovely, comfortable, clean space that didn't disappoint. Situated in a quiet orchard, we watched the wildlife go by and opened the windows at night to listen to the owls. So many thoughtful extras were stocked for us (loved the chocolate from the local sweet shop!). Very close to town and everything it offers. Great communication from hosts. If you get the opportunity, stay here!」

「Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!」

「We really enjoyed our stay at the Sand Castle. We had a big room with a great view. It's across the street from the water and the sunsets were beautiful. The employees were friendly and helpful. I wish they had daily cleaning. I'm not sure why they don't. We were switching out our towels and taking out our garbage. Part of a great vacation is getting away from that. It was really nice to have a kitchen, but the handle on the oven was broken and the microwave vent fell off. The carpets could use...
