「The beds were a little springy. Went down to have some breakfast and there was just coffee. I guess. I didn't look so we had to go to. McDonald's and spend more money that I should have. Got a continental breakfast with my stay at the hotel.」

「The carpet has to go! The room was nice with the exception of the strong smelling carpet. Chemical smells to mask the urine and feces odors and stains from previous occupatnts.」

「This is the second time staying at this property,both times was very pleasant. The first time was during the pandemic and they went above and beyond to make bagged lunch breakfasts for their guests so they would get their continental breakfasts.」

「Overall a good stay. There was an issue with our room at check-in but maintenance had it fixed by the time we came back from grabbing food. Only thing I'd fix is wish the AC would always stay on when set to "on" but it acted more like "auto" and shut off for ~10 minute periods which would make the room warm again.」

「Although the property is very close to the interstate highway and our room faced the highway, once the door was closed there was very little noise. Once inside the room it is as good as any two-star hotel, with plenty of hot water, a mini-fridge, clean towels and bedsheets. There was a minimal free breakfast available--coffee, danish, cereal, and bananas. I only saw one staff person doing the check-in, cleaning the rooms, etc. She was very friendly and helpful. 「This was an anniversary getaway. The property is very well maintained. Pool could use a little help, but it is heated and clean. No pool towels unless you ask for extras from the office. The cottage rooms are quite small compared to the motel rooms. I would reconsider next time and stay in motel instead. We had a night visitor which kept me up most of the night, an animal was in the wall/ceiling area scratching around for hours. I found the pillows not so comfy. I’d bring my own from home...

「Very much a hidden gem of a motel! Soft clean sheets, pillows were like clouds. Shower was exceptionally HOT. Very friendly staff. Most noteable, very close proximity to beach access!」

「My husband and I have been staying at the Budget Lodge since July 3rd, and we absolutely love it. It is ran by Bishop Ramsey who has been more than hospitable, understanding, and accommodating. The hotel used to have a horrible reputation and in the past 5 years he has completely turned this place around under his ownership.
