The property was located in a quiet residential area and ideally located for the University of Alabama. The property was shabby chic in style perhaps leaning more towards the shabby than chic but still comfortable. The only major drawback was the lack of crockery, utensils and cooking pans. Eating out was not an option for us due to allergies which is why we chose the property for our stay. However, for a property which sleeps 4 people - 4 mugs, 4 plates, 8 bowls, 6 large glasses, 2 pans and 3 baking items cuts isn't sufficient. We had to buy pans, a peeler and tongs to enable a meals for 3 to be cooked. The lack of items meant we were using the dishwasher twice a day and hand washing was impossible due to no plugs in either kitchen sink or the bathroom sink as well. Finally, there were insufficient chairs at dining table to enable our party to sit down together to eat. No takeaway food eaten on the white sofa for us.

The house was in a quiet neighborhood right near a school. It was easy to check in, great communication, clean, comfortable furniture/beds with plenty of towels in the bathroom. if we decide to go to games in the future, I would happily stay here again, pretty convenient to campus.

We came to Tuscaloosa for a volleyball tournament. Other families on the team stayed in local hotels. We were lucky to come upon this rental. The team members complained about the poor cleanliness, crowding, and difficult check ins with the hotels, but we had peace and quiet, the simplest, most convenient check in, and an exceptionally clean rental. the hosts were extra quick to respond to any question. We can't wait to come back for other family events in the Tuscaloosa area, and look forward to staying here again.
