"The sweet little cabin had everything we could have asked for! The large back porch was definitely our favorite! We ate our dinners out there, sat and watched the silly squirrels chase each other, and were under cover when it was raining. All that and the peaceful babbling brook added to our stay. We also liked the location. We did some hiking as well as a tour all within a short drive. We don't know when we will make it back to that area. "there was NO staff. especially front desk staff. They are using a Kiosk which is not a lot of help when I tried to check in I was told that my room wasn't ready and that they were waiting for housekeeping to update the list which they said could take a few hours, But if they would have had frontdesk staff they would have been able to check to see if the rooms were clean. This is not the first time I had problems one day I need an Iron but when I went down to the front desk the person from the Kiosk told the that it would take over 45 mins before someone would be there to help me. Not every good customer service when there is NO one there to help you. Kiosk are not for hotel use where you have someone that might need help. But if you go looking for help it could be awhile before you get help. I am not every using this hotel again."

"Let’s start with the good, the room is very nice, with a big and comfy bed. Though we are not gamblers the casino vibes were very nice we were there through a Friday so they had live entertainment. That’s where the good stops the front desk as this hotel is horrific and I really expect more from Churchill downs owned property."

"They had given up my reservation because my flight was delayed so I was only able to check in at 5:30am and then had to wait to be rebooked. The room I was given was not clean and the bed was not made. The hotel smelled like smoke and mold, and there was an active major water leak. There is also no included breakfast as described."

"The property looks great at first glance, but was super hot in the hallways and walls and carpets dirty. My room when went to lay down had mold on sheets cakes it was like 1a and they threw new sheets in car at me didn't offer to make the bed and I mentioned it was hot had to game security come at 2a try to turn ac down off and on and nothing next day they had to go in when I wasn't there that helped and the bathroom shower for let all water out and soaked bunch towels cause I hate stepping out onto wet floors my last night they fixed that dint help at were leaving next day And cleaning staff took a towel I had to my flat iron that was mine. Oh well but the staff up front and at valet were great and breakfast but holiday Monday they still ended breakfast early 930 that was disappointing. And there was a lot of un housed people with obvious mental concerns around the hotel 24/7. I don't think I'd return."
