「We were not originally planning on staying in Middletown but were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The Garden House is very comfortable and convenient to many things in town. 「From the moment I walked in I felt "at Home" Perfect size place which is detached from the main home but is attached to a rarely used garage. As I looked out the living room window. Through the trees I saw something running right through the yard... It was moving fast and had as the sun hit this strange sight it glistened beautifully. 「We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter...

「We stayed 5 nights over Memorial Day weekend to visit our son. This place was a great find. The views are amazing. We watched local wildlife every night, close up and personal.
