Okay, we booked two rooms through Expedia.
One for my Son, and one for my wife and me. We were there for a celebration of Life.
Upon entering the Lobby and looking around, we could see that this place needed some love and repair.
There were unpainted patches on the walls and the ceiling that had been there for some time. I know this because I used to be a house painter.
Walking into my Son's room, we were overwhelmed by a strong odor of cleaning chemicals, so we decided to open the sliding glass door leading out to a patio of sorts and noticed that the screen door was broken, barely hanging on.
Then we continued to our room and noticed more patches on the walls, doors, and ceilings.
As we entered the room, we were pleased to find it smelled okay. But more patches.
The bathroom sink was scratched and stained, and there was long black hair on the floor that was clearly not ours.
I decided to check the beds for "bed bugs" because so far, I wasn't impressed.
We looked out of the window to see, yes, they had a swimming pool, but the jacuzzi was almost empty, except for the greenish-brown water at the bottom.
We tried to change our son's room to another but were told that they were booked up. We tried to get our money back, but since we booked it through Expedia, they couldn't help us. So we decided that he was going to have to bunk down with us for the night and eat the cost.
The breakfast was average, nothing to boast about. I would never stay there again.
