「The room and the building look very classy and old-fashioned, a perfect fit for this little, cute town. The staff are the BEST in terms of services and friendliness. 」

「room was very clean but super small. we booked twin beds and we could barely pass each other and forget about bathroom/shower. Besides that, everything was perfect. very convenient location, staff were friendly & professional, always willing to help. We definitely recommend it but make sure to book larger rooms/set ups than you normally do.」

「Really lovely property and the staff was so friendly. The only downside was a very hard mattress but that’s down to personal preference!」

「nice」

「INTERESTING! This hotel is renovated from an old school. Clean, tidy room, staffs are friendly and helpful. The bar is a must. It is one of a kind. Beautiful landscape. Only a small rooms for improvement would be a curtain. It does not shut out the sun completely, so make sure to pack your eye-mask if you come in summer and need darkness to sleep.」

「Best accommodation I had in Iceland. Two bedroom with 2 bathroom, smart TV access in all room, superb view of akureyri town, easy access」

「We really enjoyed staying this hotel. Nice restaurant with breakfast, 24hours free coffee/tea. Hotel staffs are also very nice. When I come back to Iceland, I want to stay here again.」

「Lovely property with a great view ! I was pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included, and it was really good. A great start to the day!」

「This hotel is a great location with an amazing view and walkable to the lava fields. We picked the base room which was a bit small with a small shower but we're not there for the room, it's just a place to sleep. It was very clean and updated. Multiple restaurants are a very short drive away. They do offer breakfast but it didn't start until 8 so we passed on it. Parking was a bit tight but manageable around the units.」
