Unterkunft war sauber und Personal sehr freundlich. Wir haben dort ebenfalls zu Abend gegessen. Essen war sehr lecker und Service auch sehr toll. Gern wieder

Everything was perfect about this place. It's located just in front of the Skútustadagrig pseudo craters. We reached early so we took a walk down to these crater area and it was so peaceful and quite with grazing sheep around you. It also had hot tubs and sauna. And the hotel staff also called us when there was northern lights visible outside.

They had a great restaurant which is good because there isn’t much around the lake. So having a great breakfast was excellent. Good firm bed. The location was excellent with the ranger station & craters all within a quick walk across the street.

The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were also comfortable. The staff were wonderful and called us to let us know the northern lights were visible. We ate dinner at the hotel and we thought it wasn’t very good. The breakfast was okay though and had lots of options. I feel their food lacks flavor. The ice cream shop next door had delicious ice cream!

Great stay!. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect for exploring the Mývatn area. I also loved the free coffee machine in the lobby. Overall great place to stay.

Nice hotel with great location. You can walk across the street to visit many small cute craters. Sauna and hot tub are free. We really enjoyed staying here.

One of the few hotels in the area. The property was good but their walls are hollow you can hear toilet flushes and conversations across. However can't beat its location, size and the onsite restaurant had the best food we ate in our ring road trip.

The best hotel I stayed in Iceland. Perfect location to the lake and the route 1, especially worth mentioning is a lot of variaty at the breakfast buffet. The room was big and functional. Parking is free.

Our best stay yet. Room was lovely and very warm. I’m sure it would be great in winter but we were roasting. Beds were really comfy. Was great to have a bath too. Excellent choices for dinner. We had the Sel burger, the ribs and the chicken pasta. Delicious. Great breakfast, loads of options. They also have added extras like complimentary tea and coffee after dinner, two hot tubs and a paid laundry service. Mum loved the hot tubs and we used the laundry service. They washed, dried and folded for us. Excellent service. Also close to a horse rental which was great. Staff are all really nice, especially the waiters at dinner. They also have a petrol pump in their parking lot which is really convenient.
