「Beautiful pastoral, location, self service (no staff or registration), comfortable beds, very clean room and bathroom. Nice gathering space with coffee/tea available. We did experience quite a bit of noise from the guests (who arrived after midnight) directly above us and since we were the only two rooms (8 suites total available) I’m not sure why they had us together and not separated. Both the bathroom and closet doors did not fully close without slamming them forcefully.」

「Spacious, beautiful, great amenities, Really well designed/appointed and comfortable. Loved our stay in the Echols suite - Historic, near downtown, short 1/2 hour drive to mile zero of magnificent Blue Ridge Highway! Only two negatives - the front slate walkway in need of repair or clean up - many loose pieces. Although access was secure and easy without onsite staff, two emails requesting early check-in/late checkout went unanswered. Do not know if other concerns would have been addressed....

「The best part of the inn for us was the pool, which we used in the evening and morning. Lovely, quiet, and all for ourselves. The room was also well appointed and quiet, even though it was right off the main road. The bed was super comfy. It was a perfect way to end our trip coming down Skyline Parkway from DC. The gas station right down the street had everything you might have been missing.」
