"Great cabin , great area in general for aurora viewing, outfront of the cabin you can see them preatty well just alot of tree cover but if you just drive out of the driveway you get some insane viewpoints just next to the house or along the road arriving to the house. Theres even an area to park and watch them towards the entrance of the neighborhood after getting off the highway this is where i saw one of the best auroras while there."

It’s tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that’s 10-20 minutes from anything. Check-in was easy, cabin was clean, and has the basics for a stay. The host was helpful providing recommendations for activities and Alaska info. Would love to come back to this spot!"

"We were placed on the first floor next to the staff areas. We had two doors being opened and slammed from 10pm all through the night at various times 1am, 3am, 6am, 8am. It continued to wake us up and the rooms usually are very well sound proof to other noises but this room had ZERO! You could hear everything and everyone. It very inconsiderate of the staff to slam the doors all through the night going in and out of the side door. This was the worst stay that we have had at pikes. We stay very frequently!"
