「Truly one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. Everything was clean, well maintained, open/available as needed. The hotel was quiet when I stayed mid-week. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I can recall, a firm king with a thick plush topper. The pillows were also quite firm and fluffy. My only complaints are very minor—the only microwave on each floor is way at the end of a different hall and the bathroom light sensor was hard to figure out (how to make it shut off at night).」

「There was dried food matter in the refrigerator and on the stove, just over all very dirty. The staff were very friendly, but the room wasn't clean at all. They did have a help wanted sign on the front sign, so I'm guessing they were short on help. We just went and got some supplies and cleaned it up. The tv barely worked as well, just kept going on and off. Reception problem I'm sure. Fortunately we had lots of plans for outings so we we mostly just there to sleep. But if I had any advice...

「This vintage hotel in downtown Stevenson is perfect for dog walks, breakfast and dinner. I had at least 3 choices for dinner with my dog...and the river and cruise lines, shops and eateries are top drawer. Trust me I travel 3 times a year with my dog from WA to CO and back. I stay in lots of hotels and airbnbs. This hotel will remain on my "to stay" list as will the town.」

「Hosts were outstanding on check in. I arrived later in evening around 7:30 pm and they were friendly and receptive and recommended dining options. Even walked me down to the cabin to show the way in the dark. Room was immaculate and beautifully done and very comfortable. Would stay here anytime when within the area. Good location and convenient to attractions, dining, and all basic staples.」

「Excellent location close to the bridge of the gods and downtown in the village. Fine hiking in the gorge.」

「We love staying here when we’re headed to Portland or the coast. I always get a river view room and the balcony when the weather is good. Breakfast is great! You get a coupon for the restaurant next door, which also has a river view, and the food is great!」

「Room was very gross. I don’t think this place should be in business. I blew up my air mattress and stayed because I would’ve payed twice as much somewhere else because I had my dog. 」

「The room was clean but there were dirt smudges on the walls of the bathroom and some hair so not the greatest clean. Aside from that, this hotel was great- rooms were lovely, breakfast was fantastic with eggs bacon etc. We had rooms with river views that were just lovely and you can crack the window open for fresh air. Outside was a fantastic walking path that we made use of. Staff was very accommodating and there was even a convenience “store” in the lobby. Overall hotel was wonderful just...
