Cozy St. Helen's Cabin is Pet-friendly, Hot tub, AC, WIFI, Seasonal River Access
10/10 Excellent
"We are a family of 3 visiting the Mt Rainier National Park. This place was very conveniently located between Randle and Packwood. The to-and-fro from the park was a breeze. We had a bit of a hitch reaching the property initally but the host was very much reachable and pointed out the right direction. The property itself was well equipped with all the amenities and we were sad that we couldn't experience the hot tub. The path to Cowlitz Creek was a bit messy, with a small creek running through and muddy soil. But we had a good laugh going to the river. Could have been less of a mess if some logs were placed to cross it. The WiFi signal could have been better because it was very weak and the calls wouldn't connect properly. Otherwise, this was a beautiful location, and we would definitely come back to this property if we need to visit Mt Rainier again."

"Our group of childhood friends has been getting together for a long weekend getaway for over 20 years, and this is definitely the nicest house we have ever stayed in! Ten women slept comfortably in brand-new, luxurious beds, with four king beds and four queen beds across five bedrooms. (The queen beds were arranged as bunk beds.) We cooked and ate in the very large, well-equipped kitchen, and we lounged and played games on the ample, comfortable living room furniture. The large TV in the main room was great for watching World Cup matches! The home is remote, but there is a store nearby for essentials like ice. It was also close to the Lower, Middle, and Upper Lewis River Falls. (Make sure to get your parking reservations ahead of time!) The falls were a lovely way to get some exercise and enjoy the area.We would highly recommend this vacation home for friend groups, family gatherings, or anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to relax and spend time together."
Cozy woodland cabin in a peaceful location with forested views

"The space and location are great. The only challenge we had was finding the path to the river! For longer stays I think the lack of a place to unpack clothes would have been a minor issue, but for our short stay it was no problem."
