Fairmont Royal York
8/10 Good
"Very nice hotel, nice staff. But also very busy. You have to book ahead for all venues and they give you a time limit. You don’t get the Royal treatment, you’re more like a walking wallet with a number. Go in the off season, when the occupancy rate and price are lower. Maybe you’ll get better consideration. Kudos, some of the staff is very professional and very friendly. The bar tender at the Clock, our maid, on the Gold floor. The others were more just waiting for the hand out (and I am a good tipper). Can’t give five stars to this five star hotel. But close. I do still recommend."
Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel

Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel

"Good location, very helpful and friendly staff. Our room definitely had some wear and tear… peeling wallpaper, and very old carpet. A couple of the outlets worked and some did not."

"An older hotel in a great location just steps from Times Square. The staff were helpful and friendly. Some areas of the hotel look a bit tired and our room was small with a tiny bed! However, it was clean and comfortable...and who goes to New York to sit in the hotel room?! If you want luxury, this isn't it, but it might be a good choice if you're looking for good value and location."

"First time I visited Times Square and this hotel made me feel so welcomed! I would definitely recommend staying here! One day I will be back to Times Square and when I do I will book this hotel again. Staff were super nice, Didn’t have to worry about parking my car they had valet parking and I loved it. It’s super close to Times Square I would say like a 5 min walk"

"Great location, on the whole a good hotel. However the beds are small (you expect small rooms in New York!) and there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room. When we arrived, we had booked the two bed room as three of us were staying, but the beds were not big enough for two to share. So we upgraded to a suite and had two beds and a sofa bed - staff were helpful to arrange."

"Always a pleasure to stay here. The staff is always great. Hot coffee 24 hours a day, little breakfast snacks as well! Super convenient location. 10 minute walk to Times Square"

"Welcoming environment and great energy! There was free glass of wine and social gathering when we first got there which was really nice after a long travel. Room was very clean! Bar and restaurant they have on their rooftop had spectacular view at night. We went right as they were closing up and they still made us a drink and let us hangout and enjoy the view. Made us feel at home! Thank you ."
