"My family of four, including two teens, had a very enjoyable three-night stay at the Hibiki House. We were pleasantly surprised by the walkability to many shrines and other sites of interest around Gion. I was also appreciative of the detailed instructions received in advance. The house was clean, well appointed, and very comfortable for four guests. We would highly recommend this location!"

"Stayed here with friends to visit Kyoto. Is a beautiful house and great area for seeing shrines. Definitely in a bit of an uphill neighborhood though, so ordering Ubers can be challenging. Otherwise recommend for any travelers! "

"Our stay at Kamogawa House was nothing short of wonderful. This beautifully designed home blends modern comforts with traditional Japanese aesthetics, creating a serene retreat in Kyoto.With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, the layout was perfect for our family. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were especially helpful as my mother-in-law had injured her foot and couldn’t use the stairs. Upstairs, the shower and bath experience was truly divine—exactly what we needed after long days...

"This hotel was excellent mostly because of the great staff. Everyone was so helpful for a non Japanese speaking group. The restaurant was delicious but I didn’t try the Japanese one due to time. I would recommend it to anyone!"
